I have always been excited about writing. It wasn’t until the summer of 2023 that I began to take it seriously.
Taking a dive straight into the deep end, I begun to host my Open Mic nights in Doncaster, and became a regular feature on BBC Radio Sheffield.
This is Rhymes and Vibes.
We now have a regular monthly poetry scene in Doncaster, UK.
My other creative endeavour is sewing. Lockdown was hard for everybody. For me, sewing became more than just a hobby.
I took up an apprenticeship sewing at DFS before going on to finding gigs at The University of Leeds as their only embroidery tutor. I ended up sewing for designer fashion brand Burberry.
